June 28, 2018, 3:00 pm,The School of Mechanical Engineering invited Professor Li Xiaoling from Xi'an Jiaotong University to conduct an academic exchange entitled “Human Machine Interaction and Design” in the conference room 2-310.The teachers who attended this academic exchange included Professor Fang Yadong, Director of the Department of Industrial Engineering, Associate Professor Zhou Xian, Director of the Department of Packaging and Industrial Design, and other teachers and some graduate students. This academic exchange was presided over by Associate Professor Zhou Xian.

First of all, Zhou Xian introduced the research field of Professor Li Xiaoling.Later, Li Xiaoling introduced the National Natural Science Foundation project she had participated in recent years to the teachers and students present. From the project application experience, project excavation and promotion, the teachers and students were invited to apply for the National Natural Science Foundation. The fund's methods and techniques, and showcased the results of all the research she has participated in and hosted in recent years.Subsequently, Zhou Xian showed Li Xiaoling the results of the research projects of the industrial design profession of our institute in recent years. Professor Li Xiaoling spoke highly of the results of these projects and gave valuable suggestions for the direction of the future application projects.Finally, Professor Li Xiaoling and the teachers conducted in-depth exchanges on the issue of postgraduate training management. Li Xiaoling shared the experience and methods of training graduate students with the teachers. The teachers benefited a lot.

This academic exchange not only deepened the academic exchanges between our school and Xi'an Jiaotong University, but also provided new methods and ideas for the teachers of our institute to apply for the National Natural Science Foundation of China. I believe that in the future, the scientific research of our institute will definitely reach a new level.
