There are five undergraduate programs including mechanical design and manufacture and its automation, mechanical and electronic engineering, packaging engineering, industrial engineering and industrial design, the mechanical engineering is first grade discipline for master degree and doctor degree.Details as follows:

• Mechanical design and manufacture and its automation ——This major is committed to cultivate engineers satisfying the requirement of the social and economic development and able to carry out work in mechanical design and manufacturing and its automation as well as other related fields on the front line of production.

• Mechanical and electronic engineering——This major aims to cultivate senior engineering talent in automation and intelligent equipment manufacture field and train students’ comprehensive ability to apply knowledge on mechanical design, electrical control and sense test to electromechanical system.

• Industrial engineering——The major aims to cultivate interdisciplinary talent to carry out planning, design and improvement of production or service system in mechanical engineering based on application of industrial engineering theory.

• Packaging engineering——The major aims to solve problem in product package and safety protection by packaging technique theory based on mechanical discipline to cultivate engineering technical talent engaging in packaging system design.  

• Industrial design ——The major aims to cultivate senior special talent engaging in innovative design of product, industrial design of equipment and interactive design based on comprehensive application of multidisciplinary knowledge in terms of mechanical engineering and design science etc.
